PAIN MANAGEMENT
Persistent pain.
Comprehensive care.
Telehealth consultations for Australians living with persistent pain. Our AHPRA-registered practitioners take the time to understand your full history before discussing any management options.
Persistent pain is complex.
Your treatment should match that.
How plant-based treatment may help manage persistent pain
Research suggests cannabinoids interact with receptors throughout the central and peripheral nervous system, modulating pain signal transmission. For patients with persistent pain that hasn't responded to conventional analgesics, this mechanism may offer a meaningful alternative pathway.
- May help reduce neuroinflammation driving neuropathic pain
- May help modulate pain signals before they reach the brain
- May reduce reliance on opioids and NSAIDs over time
- Addresses co-occurring sleep disruption and anxiety

Who is plant-based treatment
suitable for?
Plant-based treatment is not appropriate for everyone. Our prescribers make an honest assessment at every consultation. You are likely a suitable candidate if:
Chronic pain is defined clinically as pain lasting longer than 3 months. Plant-based treatment targets persistent, treatment-resistant pain — not acute injuries expected to resolve naturally.
Prior treatment history is central to our assessment. This includes physiotherapy, medications, or specialist management. A genuine attempt at prior treatment matters.
A formal diagnosis helps your prescriber make accurate recommendations, though it's not always mandatory. Bring any imaging, referral letters, or specialist reports if you have them.
THC-containing products are generally contraindicated for people with a personal or family history of psychosis. CBD-only formulations may still be appropriate in some cases.
All prescribed plant-based products are contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Discuss timing with your prescriber if you are planning a pregnancy.
The brain continues developing until approximately age 25. Plant-based treatment may still be prescribed for younger patients in specific circumstances — assessed individually.
"If it's not right for you, we'll say so — and suggest alternative pathways."

In Australia, it is currently illegal to drive with any detectable level of THC in your system. Products containing THC may restrict driving. CBD-only products do not typically affect driving. Your prescriber will discuss this in detail.
These consultations and products are not currently covered by Medicare or most private health insurance policies. Your prescriber will discuss costs transparently during your consultation.
